Our last Divorce blog post covered what Child Custody is. Click the link right here to read that blog post. Today we will go over what Child Support is.

Child Support is the amount of money determined to be needed to support the needs of the child or children of the marriage. It is a bit more complicated than that, as can be the math and method of reaching the Child Support numbers behind it. Sometimes different attributes can be factored into the formula for determining Child Support, depending on the needs of the child / children. These attributes may sometimes be the reason(s) for legal disputes over Child Support during a Divorce.
